What does this have to do with New York Fashion Week? Head on over to my guest post at http://basicallyclothed.com/ to find out!

Three guys wrote this book. Two guys drew it. All work at Family Guy. All are hilarious. Pre-order now, so you can tell your friends you got on this unstoppable train of talent and handsomeness early!

It’s not even Black Friday yet but SHE’S SO MONEY is on INSANE sale at amazon! Only $3.60! Whaaaatttt!!!
And DUPLIKATE is $6.80 for the hardcover! Crazy bargain! That’s cheaper than the kindle version and you get an actual real book to hold! And IT TAKES A VILLAGE IDIOT AND I MARRIED ONE is only $5.98! For the Family Guy fan in your life!
And if you’re like “gee, this is all great, but are there any Family Guy writers who are not you who wrote books that are on crazy sale,” the ANSWER IS YES! BEHOLD DAVE IHLENFELD’S DELIGHTFUL WORK!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING! On a completely unrelated note, I am totally back into The Sing-Off thanks to those dudes from Dartmouth. I randomly saw them do a Queen medley a few weeks ago and was like holy shit, why did I ever stop watching this program. I was wrong. I made a mistake. Sometimes people make mistakes. I’m sorry, Sing-Off. I’m back.
I’m a paper person!
Well, not exactly. This paper person was the paper person, but it was the paper person in my chair at the California School Library Association dinner before I got there (there was one author per table and since we were coming in later, they reserved our seats with paper people made by local students). Obviously I wasn’t about to leave mine there, so I stole it. Well, I asked if I could steal it, and they said yes, so I guess it’s not technically stealing. Whatever. The point is, librarians are awesome and YA librarians in particular— I have been noticing this for years now— have super-rockin’ fashion sense and ability to do really good eye makeup.
Thank you, West Hollywood Book Fair! I had a great time last weekend and so much fun meeting and hanging out with all the people who came to see the Teen Stage events! :)
Next stop, West Hollywood Book Fair!
Swing by on Sunday, October 2nd for a day full of booktastic festivities! If you went last year, you may recall that it was, oh, let me see…a ZILLION DEGREES OUT. Let’s all cross our fingers for better weather this year, because the LAYAs (that’s the Los Angeles Young Adult authors, find us at http://www.facebook.com/thelayas) will have a booth and will also be kicking up some fun times on the Teen Stage and it would be totally sweet if we didn’t all die of dehydration. I’m talking LIVE BOOK TRAILERS and FANTABULOUS INTERVIEWS done by Chelsea Swiggett of http://www.coffeeandcliffhangers.com/ fame! My interview is at 3:35pm with a book signing right after, so come say hi! More info below!
